Incentive for IIT, IIIT, IIM, NIT, IISER, AIIMS, NLU, INI & IUSLA Students 2019-20

The State Government of Karnataka, Directorate of Minorities under the Minority Welfare Department, has announced an incentive of Rs. 2 Lakhs for Students of Minority Communities (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsis) who are pursuing higher education in IIT, IIIT, IIM, NIT, IISER, AIIMS, NLU, INI & IUSLA.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should be a domicile of state of Karnataka
• Candidate should belong to Minority Community. (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsis).
• Candidate should be studying in any one of the IITs, IIMs, NITs, IIITs, NLUs, IISERs, AIIMs, NLUs other Institutes of National Importance and Institutes Under State Legislature Act.
• Candidate annual family Income should be less than Rs.6 Lakhs
• Candidate must have cleared all previous examination without any backlogs.

Benefits of Incentive for IIT, IIIT, IIM, NIT, IISER, AIIMS, NLU, INI & IUSLA Students 2019-20 

One time incentive of Rs. 2 lakh for full course duration will be given to selected students.

How to Apply for Incentive?

Eligible students can follow the below steps to apply.

Step 1: Visit the official website HERE.

Step 2: Login to the online application form with your Email Id.

Step 3: Fill the application form with relevant details such as Personal Details, Academic Details, Bank DETAILS, GRADUATION DETAILS POST GRADUATION/ OTHER HIGHER EDUCATION DETAILS.

Step 4: Submit the online application form.

Step 5: After submission of online application form candidate must download the offline application form and take the printout of the same.

Step 6: Fill the offline application form and attached relevant documents listed below and sent to the below address.

1. Candidates Passport Size photo
2. Candidates Income & Caste Certificate issued by Tahasildar.
3. Candidates Domicile certificate.
4. Candidates driving license/ Voter ID/ Ration Card.
5. Candidates Identity card issued by Institute.
6. Candidates Bank Account details, (First Page of Bank Passbook)
7. Candidates Aadhar Card
8. Copy of SSLC & PUC marks card.
9. Study Certificate issued by Institute (Format enclosed with application)
10. Copy of All previous semester Marks cards & Degree Certificate.
11. Copy of All previous semester Marks cards & Post Graduation Certificate.
12. Copy of Fee Receipt & Admission/ Registration Certificate of institute.
13. Copy of candidates Result Sheet/ Rank Declaration Sheet obtained in competitive exam.
